Emergency access
For when SYNPLX itself is unreachable and the normal sign-in has nothing to ask.
What this grants, and what it deliberately does not
It only opens when SYNPLX is genuinely unreachable. A product that answers “you are not allowed” is an answer, and no secret here overrides it — if SYNPLX is up and you still cannot get in, the problem is your permissions.
It grants read access only, for one hour. You cannot approve a draft or send anything, because an approval has to carry a person's name and this session has no product identity behind it. That is the trade: you can see what is happening during an outage, and you cannot act in somebody else's name while nothing can check who you are.
Every use writes a permanent row, a warning to the server log, and a banner across the console for as long as the session lasts. None of that is punishment — it is what keeps an emergency door from turning into the front door.
